Physical Protest on The Day We Fight Back (x-post r/thedaywefightback) ift.tt/1ffV6pO February 11th, The Day We Fight Back should not only be one of internet and international solidarity, but the American people outraged at the gross incompetence of our President and our Congress, and the irreverent violation of our Constitutional rights MUST take our grievances to the streets of our great American cities. Not only will our voices be heard but our faces MUST be seen. If we are to expect any real change in the policies that govern our lives, which are currently stripping away our civil rights, we MUST go to the streets EN MASSE and DEMAND that our Constitutional rights be respected. Nothing less than this show of force will change the status quo. We must gather at city centers and state capitals in peaceful protest to let our voices be heard. New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Phoenix, Houston, Philadelphia, San Antonio, San Diego, Dallas, San Jose, Austin, Jacksonville, San Francisco, WASHINGTON DC, and countless others. We the American people are OUTRAGED, and it is high time we made that clear to the 1%. The 1% which has been ruling our great free nation, abusing our justice system, and thieving from hard working middle class Americans. We must no longer accept wage slavery, we must no longer accept unrestricted spying. So I say, Who among you will stand with me? Who among you will make your grievances known in light of day, face to face with your oppressors? Who among you will stand to save this once great nation that our children and our childrens children will know what it is to be free? Franklin D. Roosevelt once said The only sure bulwark of continuing liberty is a government strong enough to protect the interests of the people, and a people strong enough and well enough informed to maintain its sovereign control over the government. I do not see a strong and well informed people. I see complacency and apathy. If we do not exercise our power, our physical power over our OWN government, a government which no longer stands to protect TRUE AMERICANS, then I fear all is lost. Perhaps February 11th will not be THE day, but THE day is coming where our protest will not last for a single day, but for all days until justice and freedom and the Constitution of the United States of America is RESTORED to the glory and righteousness that it stands for. I am but one man, so I entreat the organizations that worked to plan and organize The Day We Fight Back, to once again help to form a day of mass protest, physical protest.
