Picasso, found shivering on someone’s front patio, is about 18 months old. He is a handsome little guy, black and rust with natural ears and a natural tail that doesn’t stop wagging. He is just full of his little self. At about 8 pounds and unless he is sleeping, warp 7 speed is all that he knows! Unless of course he is in you arms getting some lovings! He is learning to relax while laying on his back in his foster mom’s arms getting his belly rubbed - - but wait - a game of chase? Let me go - gotta run! He initiates most of the chase me games until he finds a hoof to chew on and then he will gnaw on that hoof, otherwise, back to chase. Picasso is crate trained, working on house manners, is good on a leash but could be better, and hasn’t met a dog he doesn’t like. He needs basic obedience training but he is a quick learner. He learned “come” pretty quickly and practices it at the speed he does most everything else!! Picasso LOVES the pool and will hop onto the top step at will. He will lead the “chase” pack by the top step so he can jump in, and the get out a little cooler, and of we go! If the hoof falls in the water bowl, Picasso will paw at it and then dunk his entire face to pick it up and then go lay down and chew on it! Very smart little boy that told me he would LOVE to try that agility stuff. He also really wants a pool when he gets adopted so if there isn’t a people pool he can jump into, please buy him his own pool?? Picasso is neutered, up to date on his shots, micro chipped, heartworm tested and on heartgard. Picasso will be with us for two weeks before he will be ready for adoption. We want to make sure his little body is healing well. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and will be micro chipped and on heartgard prior to being adopted.
