Picked up Seamas ashes/urn today and cried all the way home ... except for the minute or so it took to honk and yell something not in the Bible at some cretin who stopped suddenly and turned immediately in front of me, damn near hitting me. On a positive note, got carpets cleaned by a great professional carpet technician -- thank you, Kathy Grey for recommending Don Watkins. Only two furkids went MIA during the cleaning process and I was able to find them fairly quickly, although every second that I think one of my babies may have run out or gotten hurt somehow is like an eternity. Especially now. That crazy calico Cailin had found an EXCELLENT hiding place in a closet prior to the carpet techs arrival ... how did she know? ... and that even CRAZIER Searlas decided to hide afterwards, making me think hed gotten out while I was bringing some throw rugs back inside. Searlas NEVER hides, but he decided to do so today ... kept all of them except Cailin, who was in hiding, and Liam, who freaks out when locked up, in a tile-floored bathroom that wasnt involved in the cleaning process. I knew Liam would run under a bed and Cailin would stay wherever she was, but I really would have preferred to have them ALL safely tucked away.
