Picking another planting of non-gmo sweet corn for this weekend. When other crops suffer in this heat & humidity corn just keeps on produceing as do the insects. Since we use no chemicals on our produce I check each ear for a worm or two & remove the critters. We will have this corn called Delectable along with peas, cucumbers, okra, eggplant, peppers/chilies, tomatillos, squash, onions, potatoes, & some tomatoes, green beans, melons & limas. Our volume of most is greatly reduced. We will be at the market on Grand Parkway Saturday from 8-12 & Bridgeland market on Sunday from 12:30-3:30. Hope to see you all there.
