NOTHING PAST NEUER The German keeper was in outstanding form and when the Brazilians rarely fashioned an attack, they could not get anything past him. 2. OSCAR CONSOLATION There was little, if any celebration to this goal as Oscar grabbed the consolation to add a measure of some respectability to the scoreline. 1. KLOSE RECORD Germany striker Miroslav Klose scored after 23 minutes of the World Cup semi-final against Brazil on Tuesday to become the tournaments all-time leading scorer with 16 goals.
