Pieces of the puzzle 1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. The reflection in your mirror is not the full reflection of you. There is a greater presence that can only be felt but not seen. There is a dimension of you that is deeper than your appearance. There is a true reflection of you that no mirror can give you. You are the image of God on earth. We were made in His image and share His features. One day we will stand face to face with the Lord and see a true reflection of ourselves. Until that day, we read about our Heavenly Father and like a puzzle, we are putting together a picture of ourselves. We sometimes mix pieces of our self-image from pieces that do not fit. Any piece that brings shame or commendation is not the right piece. The right pieces are the ones that build us up and bring confidence. These are the pieces of the puzzle we need to get the true picture of ourselves. We know our true reflection when we see the true picture of the perfection of Jesus written in scriptures. You will fully know your true reflection when you piece together every piece the Bible gives us about Jesus. No mirror will show the true reflection of your worth but look to Jesus to see the true reflection of who you are in Him. It’s a mystery until it’s seen. Keep looking for the right pieces because your true identity is waiting to be discovered.
