Pietro Gaeta Transferable Paintings The product of recent technological advances, Affreschi decorative wall coverings for Antoniolupi were inspired by Michelangelos David. Before beginning the project, designer Pietro Gaeta spent several years studying different types of surfaces and bathroom decor. The collection includes various designs such as stripes, waves, Damask motifs, Renaissance patterns, numbers and words. The intricate digitally-designed patterns contain dye pigments that are transferred to wall or ceiling surfaces using a special water-based substance soaked into the paper. After 30 minutes, the pigments are deeply absorbed into the surface and the paper can be removed. The Affreschi project is also unique in that its application is not limited to concrete surfaces: plasterboard, brickwork, plasterwork or rough cement can easily be decorated with a unique design. This new product offers a blend of the classical and the futuristic that is environmentally friendly, free from chemical glues and does not modify the features of the surfaces to which it is applied. mosbuild/MosbuildMagazine/15/eng/index.html#/80/
