Pilots gave their lives to save Slovyansk from destruction - Info Resist - June 6, 2014 A transport aircraft AN-26 with humanitarian cargo on board, flying following the previously planned route, was shot down over Slovyansk by terrorists, Pilots, knowing what might be the consequences of the crash for civilians, have made every effort to bring the aircraft nose-dive outside the city, Thus, at the cost of their lives they have saved a few hundred, and perhaps thousands of residents of Slovyansk. As a result of the crash 6 people were killed and two others managed to jump with a parachute, while receiving injuries.
