Pinecrest Academy will Reach For the Stars next week! The Pinecrest Community is so excited to be kicking off our Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) initiative with a visit from a real live Astronaut! PAN first grade student, Samantha Johnson, and Congresswoman Dina Titus will host an assembly this Monday, May 12th, at 9:00 a.m. in the MP room at Pinecrest Academy. Our special guest will be NASA Astronaut, Richard M. Linnehan! To conclude our week, we are honored to hear from another Astronaut on Friday! Sponsored by Senator Harry Reid who also heard Samanthas request and is sending Ret. NASA Astronaut Steven Lindsey to address the students. This assembly will take place on Friday, May 16th, at 2:00 p.m. in the MP room. We are very excited and grateful for this amazing opportunity to kick off our STEAM Project and REACH FOR THE STARS AT PINECREST ACADEMY!
