Pinecrest rolls past Middle Creek, 38-9, in the opening round of the 4-AA playoffs. Quarterback Christian Ledbetter scored three rushing touchdowns and passed for one more to lead the Patriots. Qawi Alim scored the other Patriot TD when he returned an interception 73 yards. Kyle Corbett booted a 43-yard field goal and converted all five extra points as the Patriots improve to 10-2. pinecrest will play at 12-0 Wake Forest next. The game is a rematch of last years second round playoff game won by Wake Forest, 17-10.
