Pinewood Derby: the derby is coming up and I wanted to post the derby regulations. Cars can weigh up to 5 ounces. They can not be over. Cars should not be longer than the original block of wood and must fit under our finish line. (They should be no taller than the original block of wood.). You must use BSA pinewood tires. They sell colored ones at the council store if you want them. Just as long as they say BSA pinewood derby on them they will be fine. You must use axles (nails) included in kit. Only powdered lubricant can be used. No liquid lubricants are allowed. Parent cars should follow same regulations.
