#Pinnacle2K14 race report through the Sony - Action Cam with 10 riders battling it out. Bryn Atkinson taking the win. Watch the action in his rear view. As Sik Mik Mick Hannah was able to utilize the wide natural terrain course to his advantage. Bryn timed the start perfectly taking the lead, never to be relinquished. Mick having only managed a 6th place start going into the first section down Upper Bobbys, he was able to move by local New England rider Ray Syron to get himself into 5th place by the halfway mark on the course. Then it got spectacular. Coming over the second big jump feature on Upper Sells, Mick chose to take a different ramp and moved himself alongside American rider Graeme Pitts, Pro Downhill Biker as they dropped into the steepest part of the course on Utter Abandon. He closed the door to take away 4th place on a high speed right hand corner. In front of Mick his teammate Fabien Cousinié was under the gun from Matt Simmonds as Simmonds got by Cousinie in a tight left hand off-camber corner also on Utter Abandon. Just one corner later Fabien squared up Matt and was able to pull alongside heading into the fastest section of the course to reclaim 2nd place, but not for long. Little did either of them know that Mick Hannah was hot on both for their heals and through the high speed section into Exhibition he passed both of them around the outside to lock down 2nd place within sight of the finish line. In the less than 30 seconds and on the steepest and fastest parts of the course, Mick went from 5th to 2nd. As Bryn said after the race about his ride I road it like I stole it from the start to finish. Behind him it looked like Mick was chasing Bryn like he stole it from him, with Mick coming from 6th to 2nd place!
