Pinochle Review of 13 Mar 2014. While The Dynamik Du0s TriM JiMs priorities were temperarily shifted for a week as he was absent due to a planned Ski-Urlaub in the Dolomiten area of Alta Badia, designated hitter JudiciouS JoE valiantly stepped up to The Pinochle plate on Trim JiM’s behalf. Yes, indeed... it appears that as in The Tale of Two Cities and [The French Reign of Terror] ~ The DubiouS Du0 of Fast FreddY and GentlemaN JameS haed all The Power in the 1st-Set of the Pinochle afternoon. Once again, flaunting their [presumed] Divine Right to dominate over The DynamiK Du0 of TalL PauL and JudiciouS JoE, who are left with nothing but grass and onions to eat and are forced to starve while the Pinochle Nobles were winning game after game and living lavishly off the Rookies backs; as with every Card-hand and play, the Nobles pommeled the Pinochle life out of the poor peasant ‘Rookies, winning the 1st-Set 500+ to ???. 0uch!!! But after a brief pause prior to play beginning in the 2nd-Set, would be Coach TalL PauL called for an Operatioal Briefing with his partner JudiciouS JoE and set forth to embraced a new strategy of aggressive bidding in order to control the play. So, then came the 2nd-Set, and with it, the dawning of an Up-rising for Pinochle-Social-Justice was about to take hold. Tho TalL PauL and JudiciouS JoE, demoralized, and tired of starving and begging for some charitable cards with a spread of decent Meld, in the 1st-Set, they determinedly embraced their [yet again] new strategy to win spearheaded by their aggressive bidding to control the play. This time their strategy proved successful as the [poor peasants] TalL PauL and JudiciouS JoE vindicated their bidding and playing skills stopped in their tracks the DubiouS Du0s onslaught and thereby turned the tide to soundly defeat the [Nobles] FasT FreddY & GentlemaN JameS. The days competion resulted in a 1-1 tie, but more significantly, TalL PauL and JudiciouS JoEs Redemption. In this [Tale] the motto, Dont Tread on [Us] provingly prevailed! 😜 Now, lets get ready-2-rumble! -Deal the Cards-
