Pip had to be put to sleep this morning. He had a tumor that was attached to his kidney. She said it was typically cancer and that he also had kidney failure so even removing one kidney would not help because the other was not strong enough to sustain him and allow him to get better. So very sad. He was the best cat I have ever known. I loved him dearly and he loved me also. After we arrived @ the clinic and went into the examining room, pip began to respond to us. He began to purr. It was as if he knew he was in the right place and that he wasnt going to suffer any longer. My BFF Lisa Davis said he was purring because he knew he was going to heaven. Although I have a heavy heart and I will miss him terribly, this is one kitty I KNOW IS IN HEAVEN. He was so loving.
