Piper has come a long way with us and is finally ready for us to start looking for her forever home. When we got her we discovered a deformed leg that best taken off to aide in her ability get around and to allow her spine to not have issues due to the deformity. We found a more than gracious and loving foster home that has helped her through recovery and had shown her what being in a loving home is all about. She is good with other dogs and kids but she likes them less mobile. When a toddler gets to close and plays to much she does get a bit anxious. She loves to snuggle and cuddle and just is happy to be in a home. She will need special therapeutic care to make sure her spine and hips are not stressed due to the amputation. We are working with some organizations that may be able to donate some of this long term care for her. We have two emails from interested parties but we do need applications to be filled out. We will be working all applications to make sure we find the best possible home for Piper.
