Pippa update. Well miss Pippa is doing quite well. She just finished her last dose of Baytril a day ago so I am now watching her closely incase she starts to go downhill. She is a good girl and she loves attention and she is slowly allowing others to pet her as well but is always cautious at first. She is quite happy living in her kennel with her babies but is not a happy camper when she has to get taken out of the kennel. This normally results in a couple hisses. We have a routine and she likes it that way. Lol Thankfully Pippa has never actually hurt any of us here. She will at times hiss and spit and on occasion will swat but never with her claws out. Normally when I tell her its okay she calms down. My oldest son Nathan went on and on about the kittens being soooo cute. He was holding them and playing with them and was well aware they would be finding forever homes soon. But he said Pippa is going to stay right mom? And I said I dont think so sweetie; she isnt all that socialized or used to anywhere but this kennel and she cant live in the kennel in my room for the rest of her life. He said but she has been through so much and has lived through surgeries when they thought she would die and shes a good girl. Sigh. I know he is right; he said all the same things I think about on a regular basis. I love how patient and kind my Nathan is. It makes me so proud to have children that care and love so much. I am taking it one day at a time with Pippa. Praying I can get her to the point that she could live outside of a kennel without being terrified. That she can trust more and not be afraid of every single nose and movement. Any ways here is a video taken tonight. Pippa getting some love.
