Pistachio has been my foster since Dec. 23rd living in the upstairs of our house totally separate from the rest of my fur family Let me first say that I love this little girl. Pistachio has trust issues and I am not sure what happened to this girl before we rescued her from London Debbie Quantrill Hill plus Cathie Penalagan were part of that rescue. While she loves to lay on me and head buts me for rubs, even known to give me kisses on the face, in the next second she can turn on me. She is a biter & while in recent months no superficial wounds has she caused she cant be trusted. We have tried Reiki, medication ( which made her more aggressive) Feliway diffuser, Jaxon Gallaxy cat herbal drops to no avail. I tried brushing her today and that didnt go well. I cannot even pick her up to get her into a carrier as I so want her to see our vet in Kitchener who knows about her. I think sedating her is the only way to get her into a carrier. She plays now with those plastic balls which is great as for the longest time she wouldnt play. She is now peeing outside the litter box. My Sweet Baby P needs some intervention that I cannot give her. I am a rescuer but I am no miracle worker. We need our upstairs back as we cannot have my husbands children overnight since the upstairs is her domain. My hopes when taking her were that she would be suitable for an adoptive home but after 7 mos while there is much improvement re her trust level, how can I put her through having to trust someone all over again give the length of time it has taken her to trust me. When I was in Vegas and came home she for the next 5 days was all over me. Kissing me, laying on me wanting me to pet her...then she was back to her hissy pissy self I like to call her. So her actions really are behavioral. If anyone knows of who I can draw on next to to help me with her I would be most interested in speaking with.
