Pistol Skills is a foundation course. It includes the fundamental shooting skills that the rest of the classes build upon. You will learn: Safe and efficient holster use Proper grip and stance Use of sights Trigger control Reloading Basic malfunction drills This class is the foundation of our entire system and is a prerequisite to all future pistol classes. Date: Tentative Date Jan 25, 2014 - 8am (Date May Change Due To Range Schedule) Time: 8 hours Location: SWGDFC Private Range Cost: $60.00 Pre-requisites: knowledge of your weapon system Equipment needed: Handgun (9mm or larger) Sturdy belt, holster, and mag pouch At least 2 magazines 200 -250 rounds factory ammo Hearing & Eye Protection Ball cap Applicable clothing for the season - we shoot in all conditions, including rain, lightening is the only thing to cause a class to be cancelled.
