Pitt called me yesterday and broke the news to us. Cinnys pet scan came back with multiple areas that lit up. Some areas are new and some are not. One area is located on the back of her neck which may explain the trail of headaches. We are devastated. I knew in my heart that we were not clear and cinny recognized it last week. She told me last week she felt sick again. I have told her sisters however I have not told Cinny yet. Pitt is currently making comparisons with last pet scan to see if the one area is bigger or smaller. Last per scan last November only showed an area in the groin with mets. That area is still there. If it is bigger or has not changed then more than likely she rejected treatment. We have to wait and see what the next plan is. As I sit here and cry over the thought of this possibly not beating this I also count my blessings of having the time Ive had with her the past 2 years. Some mothers never have the chance to hold their babies, no chance of seeing their first little crush, no chance of seeing them smile, no chance of getting a kiss on the cheek and no chance of hearing I love you mommy. As I pray for cinny I also value what I have that others dont. Not sure why life is so painful but I no longer believe its a test of strength. I will update once I hear back from Pitt.
