Pittsboro First Sunday starts at noon today, & what a beautiful day it is for strolling dowtown PBO! Remember, the collection for Dogs Off Chains is also going on from 11-2. See details below, & see you there! Cold Noses, Warm Hearts Collection on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 11am to 2pm in the parking lot of the old Pittsboro Ford in Pittsboro, now there is the fruit stand and the carwash, across from Hardees. Just look for the big blue truck. We will be collecting blankets and towels that you no longer use to bring to the Chatham County Animal Shelter. We will be collecting toys (like hard rubber Kongs), plastic dog houses and igloos and bales of wheat straw for our Dogs Off Chains dogs. We also will have special envelopes available to donate $5 per bale of wheat straw. This will also be the last week to purchase raffle tickets for our quilted throw handmade and donated by David Post in Arizona. We will have the quilt available for viewing and tickets available for purchase. $1 each or 6 for $5. The drawing will be made on December 15th! These wonderful pups may have cold noses but they have warm hearts!
