Pittsburg Ridgerunners trail report Tuesday January 20, 2015 The current temperature is 3 degrees with a clear sky and we have received about 5 inches of snow since last report. The 2015 trailsystem is approximately 80% open and we are grooming nightly. Trails to the north are very good to great and will have a few icy spots and water bars. On the southern trails expect conditions ranging from fair to good with some low snow areas. For a detailed list of closed trails check the trail by trail report below. Trail 137 from jct. 3130 to 3092 will be closed for the season due to impassable trail conditions, trail 143 from Magalloway rd jct. 1776 to jct 533 will also be closed for the season. Trail 5 behind 2nd lake is temporarily closed due to a flooded brook, we expect to open it back up in a day or two. We have been out getting the trails back into shape after the freezing rain. Things are hardening up quick with the very cold weather last night. We expect trail conditions to improve quickly.
