Frech Center at Beechview Position Summary: The Employment Specialist is responsible for providing guidance and support to individuals with disabilities in community-based employment settings. This includes job development, on the job training and follow up supports in order to obtain and maintain employment within the community. This position requires frequent communication with internal and external sources. This position also requires a thorough working knowledge of Positive Approaches, Person Centered Planning, Community Integration, Crisis Intervention techniques, Positive Practices and knowledge of disabilities. This position requires strong organizational, decision making and problem solving skills and the person must be capable of working independently. Minimum Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Human Services and 1 year experience Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am-5pm with 1/2 hour lunch break.
