Pitty Patty is the “honorary ACD” of the bunch. She is a 4-year-old brindle female pit bull. She is 40 lbs, and is HW+ but undergoing treatment. We were not aware of a non-ACD being in the group of dogs, but were not going to leave her behind when we found out. Pitty Patty was nervous and scared at first but seeks affection from humans in an almost desperate way. She will flatten her body and almost crawl when she first meets someone; however, she has improved immensely in her first week in rescue. Once she has met a person once she is comfortable with them. Patty is underweight and has healed scars on her neck that are consistent with bite wounds. Despite this, she is dog and people friendly. She is treat motivated and affectionate. She is generally comfortable with handling, with the exception of her back end, unless you are scratching her back, which she loves. Pitty Patty will be available for adoption soon.
