Placing duck tape over the mouth of a 4 year old would not be a solution, just a temporary fix, thought Emily as she carefully removed duck tape from around the mouth of the old farm duck Melon. Besides it would only make things worse with David. He was in the cattle shed and hadnt come out for nearly 3 hours due to his new exhibition. In recent years David had been given the artistic tag Wanksy by the press after his second rate Banksy style art that hed spent a weekend splashing all over his local town of Weston-super-Mare. This included his own incarnations of stencils that were of Disney characters doing.. Well.. Disney stuff. Mickey Mouse didnt even look like Mickey and some of the other characters were uncharacteristically rubbish. Instead of rats he did hamsters, this led him onto his latest project. Wanksy had now purchased approximately 12 different flavoured hamsters as well as a mouse and was currently trying to train them in performing roles in the nativity. Titled Nafftivity he had made costumes for the three Kings, placed them on camels, Mary, Joseph and of course the starring role went to the mouse. The tricky part was keeping one of the hamsters halo and wings on and at the same time staple said hamster to the roof. Emily hated his work more than anyone else. But what she hated more was that little brat of a daughter of his. Duck tape was a solution but she could think of far worse and after rescuing Melon, it was time to get her own back on behalf of her feathered friend. She moved with stealth from barn to kitchen.
