Plan International zambia has called on governement to consider conducting birth registrations in hospitals that will help the nation have full access to health education and child protection. Speaking during a presentation on child rights yesterday Plan International Zambia Child Protection manager Enerst Mwenya stressed the need to extend the registrarion to all parts of the nation unlike focusing it at UTH. He however urged journalists in the country to help raise awareness on this process and see that children in the country are given birth certificates. Mr. Mwenya further said only 10% of children in the country have birth certificates.
