Planet Design are looking for a number of trades to work on our timber builds. We have a great reputation for producing stunning builds and as a result our diary remains full. ELECTRICIAN - first & second fix. All wires will be clipped to timber frames with min to zero channelling out (making life easy). Usual work is 4 x double sockets, 3 x wall lights, light switch, 2 x external lights, 5-8 x external down lights, 1 x consumer box, 1 x external double socket, laying of armoured cable and connecting to existing house mains. The work is usually out of the Nottinghamshire area, so must be prepared to travel for each fix/visit. Typical time on site; first fix 4 hrs. Second fix 6hrs. JOINER - committed & enthusiastic with a keen eye for detail. Typical work is frame building, decking, sub-frames and western red cedar external cladding. the work 9 out 10 times involves working away so must be prepared to do so. Time spent away is Mon-Fri (staying in B&B Mon-Thurs). Each job usually lasts 2-3 weeks. LABOURER - enthusiastic and must be a team player. More than just a labourer, someone who can do/who wants to learn a little bit of everything. You will be involved in foundations, frame building, roofing, internal work and decking. Again as above, must be prepared to work away. We have a great atmosphere on site with excellent work ethics.
