Planned for 2025, Expendables XIV will star Michael Bay, Jerry Bruckheimer, Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, J.J. Abrams, Tony Scott, Christopher Nolan, Joel Silver, Avi Arad, Paul Greengrass, Don Simpson, and John Woo as THE ASIAN. It will be a low budget, character-driven, sitting room piece focusing on the delicate web of fledgling trust-and-compassion-based relationships that struggle to emerge at a support group for multiply addicted adrenaline junkies. SPOILER ALERT: may be inappropriate for children, as the plot turns on a suicide pact (mercifully carried out off-screen).
