Planning Monitoring / Evaluation Officer - UNICEF - Peshawar Support implementation and monitoring of activities related to the projects on Social Policy and Monitoring at the provincial level and liaise accordingly with the provincial Planning and Development Department, provincial Bureau of Statistics and other relevant partners including assistance for the conduct and dissemination of the Multiple Indicators Cluster Survey, with a view to build capacity at the provincial/state, district levels. Provide support for strengthening and maintaining planning monitoring and evaluation capacity at the provincial level, including situation analysis update, implementation of electronic database systems (e.g Dev Info) and collation of key source information at the provincial/state level, updating the emergency and preparedness plan for the province/state. Supports the Chief of the Provincial/Hub Office in implementing the integrated monitoring and evaluation plan (IMEP) and monitoring of field implementation activities, including ensuring regular updates of the progress notes. Participates in rapid assessments as required. Supports the Chief of the Provincial/Hub Office in office level monitoring and reviews i.e joint government-UNICEF provincial reviews, mid-year, annual and mid-term reviews led by the Planning and Development Departments. Supports the Chief of the Provincial/Hub Office in developing a district based model for an integrated management information system and building capacity for evidenced-based planning and decision making. Keeps abreast with provincial economic and political situation and assists in identification of key policy interventions for leveraging resources for children and women at the provincial/state level. Provide technical advice to staff on planning and monitoring issues and tools including Dev Info, ProMS and Cognos. Prepare the SPPM&E part of the provincial work plan, ensure compliance with the assigned tasks and carry out any duties and functions as may be assigned by the supervisor.
