Planning a first ever trip to Mexico and I would please like to take a poll - could you share with me your top three places to visit in Mexico for three weeks. We are NOT package-deal people who remain holed up in a fancy hotel for the duration and rarely venture out to the local community. We are very much wade into the culture travelers who really want to see how people live. We had our hippie days but are more conservative these days (we are in our 60s) - with comfort weighing in at 60% and adventure 40% where it used to be the reverse, and 70-30. We like memorable people and memorable occasions versus just seeing the sights. Will be very grateful for your info.
