Planning a week with my turning-7 year old nephew. I will pick him up from Christchurch 16th of January, and he will fly out on the 24th. Looking for suggestions/opinions. Figure well drive to Queenstown where we will either hot air balloon, parasail or fly in a bi plane. We will also play the coolest mini golf I know. Maybe go and do the Tasman glacier boat tour. So I think two days in Queenstown. Then go to Haast for jet boating on the Waitoto River. Up to Fox/FJ for a helihike. Possibly camping out one night with the West Coasts famous Possum Pete. Back to Greymouth, where well spend a day at On Yer Bike, go for a hike, teach Tyler safe firearm handling, and maybe rafting. Zip across to Hanmer then maybe squeeze the Antarctic Centre in before Tyler flies out. Can always skip jet boating in Haast and do it in Hanmer to save some time. What are everyones thoughts?
