Planning on selling a truck for a friend tomorrow. Its an old big beast, a 79 something silver/rust combo V8 F150. It runs well and has a good engine and tranny that could even just be parted out. I want to be up front with people that it hasnt been registered for like 7 years. Does anyone know the deal with registering a car that hasnt been registered for years? Or of places that buy older cars or anything? Owner is an older guy who has been renting a parking space for it for about 7 years and is just ready to get rid of it. He does construction work and was badly injured, wont be able to use his hand for months and is hoping to get a few hundred dollars to get by. Any advice is welcome, but please be polite. Im going to go take photos in the morning, but I know she isnt much to look at.
