Planning the mural unveiling today, we discussed many technical details regarding the Color Guard and how they will proceed along narrow Arizona Street to the speakers podium, where colors will be presented. The Pipes and Drums will be part of the procession. It will be very traditional out of respect for Lt. Neary and FF Sweeney and the job they loved. The challenge we face for the mural unveiling is to have the event structured as it would be for a solemn memorial service, while bringing a sense of lightness and peace to the families and community.
