Plans are in top gear as stake holders prepare for the official Launch of the 2014 KCB Safari Rally to be held next Thursday at 10am at the Pan Africa in Nairobi. The KCB Team and a representative of the Kenya Rally Drivers Association were this morning at the venue, where they met senior officials of the Pan Africa Hotel to discuss plans and prepare in advance for the forthcoming function of the 63rd edition of the Safari Rally. This years round of the KCB Safari Rally will be the penultimate event of the 2014 African Rally Championship. After the start from the KICC on 12 September at 10am, the rally will move to Nanyuki for the centre stage of Kenyas biggest Motor Sport event. Prior to reaching Nanyuki, rally action will be seen at Migaa, Naro Moro and Batian before Nanyuki Sportsman Arms hosts the drivers and cars for the night rest halt. Full action will resume on the following two days with Batian View as the main Spectator Stage and also venue for the main Service Park.
