Plans are under way to expand Spring-Stuebner, which runs just south of Auburn Lakes and offers another convenient route to the community. Harris County has also approved an extension of Mossy Oaks Rd. from Gosling Rd. to I-45 North. Looking at the bigger picture, the Grand Parkway is being constructed between U.S. 290 and I-45 North in two segments. Construction is planned to begin in 2013 and be completed in 2015. Auburn Lakes residents will be able to hop on the Grand Parkway within minutes, allowing them to conveniently reach the major new energy companies that are establishing new offices near the community.
