Plant 5 is back online and refilling the elevated tank. It was a very productive day. The clarifier tank and fllters were extensively cleaned and we had experts from the water plant manufacturer out to assess its operation and develop bids for some needed repairs. We finished later than anticipated because we had to dispatch some of our crew to repair a large leak in the vicinity of Espey and Windsor Roads. Plant 1 members south of Bailey may see some iron in the water stirred up by this leak. Plant 5 members should be seeing good water.
