Plattsburg High School Daily Announcements Tuesday, January 20th, 2015 The Plattsburg Wrestling team finished 3rd at the Plattsburg Invitational - Thank you to everyone that came out and supported Tiger Wrestling this weekend! The team will wrestle tonight against Savannah and Lawson in Savannah @ 5pm. The bus leaves at 2:30 pm with weigh-ins starting at 4pm. Good Luck!!!!! Attention .367 students: The .367 luncheon will be tomorrow & the permission slips must be returned prior to leaving. The bus will leave at 10:45 and will return around 1:00-1:30pm. Permission slips can be picked up in the office or in Mrs. Adams room. Ambush Army needs to keep checking Facebook and Twitter pages for updates! Any member who dresses up for courtwarming this week needs to stop by Ms. Ryczeks room to get points for Ambush Army. Congratulations to Cooper OConnor for being selected at Athlete of the Week for the St. Joseph News Press for wrestling. Cooper scored 4 pins in 4 matches at the Belton Hall of Fame Tournament. In honor of Black History month, the Clinton County R-III School District will have Zuzu Acrobats performing at the high school on Wednesday, February 11, beginning at 9:45 a.m. Zuzu Acrobats has previously been on Americas Got Talent. The performance is open to the public. Notes from the Counselor/Scholarship Information: •Sophomores wanting to attend the Hillyard tour on 01/26/15 must have permission slips turned in by this Thursday, 1/22 Mrs. Taylor goes to the Dominican Republic to volunteer at orphanages and this year some of her Spanish III students are trying to help her raise money for those orphanages. They are selling t-shirts for $15 and there will be a print on the front and the back of the t-shirt. If you have any questions please see Lindsay Stephens or Kasey Wright. Reminders: *Wednesdays are late start and school begins at 9:16 am. Students should not arrive prior to 9:00 am on Wednesdays. *Students driving a vehicle to school need to have a car registration form filled out and a car tag. *If you have not signed up for text caster, our school notification system, you can do so from our school website at ccr3.k12.mo.us. Click on the communications tab on the top of the page, then click on Textcaster and follow the prompts. *Two hour late starts may be utilized on inclement weather days. In the event of an unscheduled late start, you will be notified by usual means such as local television stations, textcaster and the school website. The two hour late start will apply to every week day. Therefore, the starting time at Middle School and High School will be 10:22 a.m. and at Ellis 10:28 a.m. no matter which day the late start occurs, even Wednesday.
