Playa lights: 1) Monday: Having a mini playa party for 16 hours as we watched the lightning cross the desert and were amazed by the hail. Thank goodness for RVs and my journey mates: Paolo, Claudia, and Amanda! 2) Softest landing in the world with Sasse Pants. He knows how to take good care of me. 3) Tuesday: Getting the party started by dancing with my sweetest peeps at Red Lightning Kurt, Amy, Joanna) and having a strong sensation that Tibisay was there dancing with me with tears of gratitude for our friendship. 4) Wednesday: Playing with the Unicorns at the Unicorn Stampede with Amber, Sasse, and Polly and all the sparkle ponies on the playa. 5) Thursday: Magical Tarot card reading by Aero (Tom) that set me back on track with my intention for Burning Man to open to the energy of a mentor and to be held in the process of student to master. Played with a tired Christian making smores, and hopping around some art until I had to send him to bed. 6) Friday was when things got really interesting. Read tarot for sweet people in Center Camp, many of whom had tears or heard the perfect thing. As a sweet cycle of closure my tarot friend Aero found me and I gave him a reading. 7) Friday: Garrison found me at Center Camp (we always see each other there) and offered me another moment to remember why I was there at Burning Man. He offered me a beautiful necklace with a ritual to remember my purpose, mentor-ship. 8) Still Friday: I then stop in front of the Temple Crew Camp and happened to read their wish list sign. They want massages, among other things. I decide to walk in and ask if anyone wants one. A man sitting off to the side eating his lunch is a hell yes and I work on him for about 45 minutes. In that time we develop a friendship and sweet connection. 9) Saturday is the burning of the man and after that was finished I ended up at the temple where a man had brought his orchestral gong to play healing resonance to people at the temple. As I listened to him I decided this was the moment I would ask to learn how to play the gong. He was touched by my asking and taught me what he knew then handed me the mallets. I ended up staying with him for a few hours playing back and forth and giving him the experience he always offers. It was a beautiful manifestation of the mentorship energy I wanted to create. Thank you Burning Man! I love you!
