Playdom announces 5 games to shutdown on Playdom Posted on March 20, 2014 Today, players logging into 5 games on the Playdom network got the dreaded shutting down notice. These games will no longer operate on the Playdom site after April 20, 2014 Marvels: Avengers Alliance -> can still play on Facebook Ghosts of Mistwood Kitchen Scramble Pirates of the Caribbean Hidden Worlds I am amazed about M:AA as the traffic numbers and their appearance at Comic Con would indicate the franchise is making money. So it comes as a shock. But it appears more of a consolidation to cut costs then a complete close.
