Played some NBA 2K14 yesterday. Crystal and one child vs me and another (the children switched around... and I had to run solo some). The menu is HORRIBLE. It took a full 10 minutes and a Google search to figure out how to play local multiplayer. The game, however, was fun. Our first half of our first game, though, was more like a typical soccer match with a score near 2-0. There was a lot of goaltending and I think I fouled the other team around 20-30 times... mostly by jumping on top of other players (thats apparently not legal in NBA rules). Lots of fun, though. :) Today Im looking forward to taking my lunch to create my own 2d fluid physics engine for Flash. Something I can use in future banners and one of my 3 games Im working on at home. :) Once thats done, though, Im going to be focusing more on my writing at lunches. I kept hitting sticking points in my novel and Ive finally realized why. I need to explore one or two more sub-plots. Focusing so hard on only 2 characters can get taxing for the author and the reader. No real break, just have to figure them out and insert them... I can do it as a flashback now and slide parts around later.
