Player Ratings: Odds n Sods 0-1 Los Cafeteros The final game and 3 points snatched up by the boys tonight as they got over the line against a spirited Odds n Sods team. Sitting third last on the ladder coming into the game, pundits predicted a high scoring win by Los Cafeteros, but it was not to be as the opposition played like a team vying for the title. An unusual poor performance from the team tonight, not seeming to have the want or will during the match. A Bousfield goal sealing the 3 points for the team and putting to bed a successful season for all involved within and around the club. Another clean sheet meaning that the club recorded the best defensive record in the league for the season. Daniel Bousfield - 7 - Man of the Match - Playing outfield for one of the first times since Hollands departure, Bousfield showed some of the flair that the team had been missing, although very rusty. He got the winning goal collecting the ball from Kindlen, slamming it home with his left peg. Finn Woodhouse - 7 - Another good outfield performance from Woodhouse as he produced another brick wall like defensive showing. Taking the gloves in the second half, he was called upon on numerous occasions only to thwart any attack that Odds n Sods attempted. Edward Bell - 6 - Sporting a very eloquent man-bun this eve got everyone pumped but a slow start from Bell meant that he was unable to find his usual rhythm on the ball. Some great runs were made on Bells behalf, only for lacklustre passing and lack of movement from is teammates to let the move down. Alex Kindlen - 6 - Kindlen started brightly tonight, taking on his defender on numerous occasions. Playing the pass at the right time his downfall tonight as he was unable to get the ball out of his feet at the right time. Kindlen collected the assist though, with a delicate through ball. Josh Hancock - 7 - Taking the gloves off of Bousfields hands (literally) was a new experience for Hancock, pulling off some neat saves in the process. Hearts were in mouths when he came to collect a corner, missing completely, only for the header to come back across the face of the goal. Outfield in the second half, he provided some spark to lift the team over the line. Ed Pitts - 7 - Yet again deployed as a defensive marksmen, Pitts was consistently found tracking back the oppositions key players during the course of the match. A rare mind-lapse in the second half resulted in Pitts losing his man, only for the ball to cannon back off the crossbar.
