Players,Liverpool should try to bring in: 1,Christian eriksson,Ajax The Danish midfielder has been likened to a young Steven Gerrard, which would suggest the Ajax midfielder is destined for great things. The 21-year-old can play as a central or attacking midfielder, as well as a centre forward. The Dane, who scored against Manchester City in the Champions League this season, would be a great long-term replacement for ‘Captain Fantastic’. Eriksen has fantastic vision, and is at his most comfortable when in possession, dictating the play. A fine finisher and athletic player, the Ajax youngster is a must have for the Reds. He will probably cost Rodgers £15million, but ‘Kopites’ will know he’s worth it. A remarkable talent at just 21-years-old, Eriksen could do wonders at Anfield. 2,Alvaro moratta,Real madrid Luis Suarez’s future at Liverpool seems to be over. The Uruguayan has repeatedly talked about his interest in joining Real Madrid, and Ian Ayre must decide whether the club should sell to Los Blancos or not. One scenario that has been dreamt up is for Liverpool to demand cash and young forward Alvaro Morata in return for Suarez. The Spanish Under-21 international has impressed in the European Under-21 championship, scoring four goals in five matches for his country. The 20-year-old has spent the season in between Madrid’s first team and their reserves. For the second team, Morata bagged 12 goals in 18 games, while in his 12 first team appearances the forward scored twice. Tipped for great things at Madrid, Ayre could be smart and bring the forward to Anfield, and get a forward with fantastic potential on a long-term contract. A clear goal scorer at just 20-years-old, Morata could be a star talent. 3,Luis Muriel,Udinese The Udinese forward is definitely a goal scorer, and he has only just turned 22-years-old. After 11 Serie A goals this season, Muriel has been linked with a move away from Udinese, and potentially to Anfield. The striker is difficult to shrug off the ball when he has possession, and has a deadly left foot finish. But Muriel also has a blistering change of pace that will leave plenty of Premier League defenders for dead. The striker loves to dribble past defenders, before unleashing powerful and accurate finishes across the opposition keeper. An ideal replacement for Suarez if the club decide to sell the Uruguayan, Muriel, touch wood, should also bring less controversy to Anfield too. A player who is definitely more focused on scoring goals than biting players, Muriel could be a great signing for the Reds. 4,Jeremy menez,PSG The PSG midfielder can play pretty much anywhere in attack. Left, right or centre, Menez can do any job for his manager. The French attacking midfielder, who scored twice in the Champions League this year, is a strong passer, and uses his great vision to slide a through ball in for his forward. A key passer for PSG, Menez could easily fit into Brendan Rodgers’ system. The 26-year-old draws in fouls too, due to his fantastic dribbling ability. An all round attacking threat, the Kop would go wild for Menez if he joined the Reds. A threat on the counter attack, Menez and Coutinho could be the ideal players to slot passes in for Daniel Sturridge, up front, and push the Reds high up the Premier League table. With top level experience under his belt, Menez would be a great signing for Liverpool. 5,Christian Atsu,FC porto The Porto winger has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool, as his contract expires next summer. With Porto desperate to get some money for the Ghanaian international, Atsu could join the Reds for just £3million. Just turned 21-years-old, Atsu has the potential to be an extremely dangerous winger in European football. Fast and skilful, Atsu would terrorise Premier League defenders next season. The Ghanaian has the confidence to take on defenders that Stewart Downing doesn’t possess, and when free from injury Atsu could be a regular in the first team. Joining the likes of Suarez, Coutinho and Sturridge, the Reds would have a quick and dangerous attack. 6,Kyriakos Papadopoulos,Shalke The defender may have had an injury-hit season with Schalke, but there is still a lot about Papadopoulos that will excite Liverpool fans. The 21-year-old has shown great potential for both club and country, attracting Liverpool and Zenit St. Petersburg, who were close to signing the Greek defender last summer. With Jamie Carragher now retired, Papadopoulos could become a great defender for the Reds. Strong in the air and a good reader of the play, the Greek youngster would be a fantastic addition to the Liverpool squad. The 21-year-old teamed with Daniel Agger would be an ideal partnership for Liverpool fans. #PB#
