Playhouse South 2013-2014 Season Awards There are two categories of awards: show-specific, and season/best of awards Show-specific awards are based on audience ballots. Scoring ranges are as follows: Merit – 2.25 - 2.49 Excellence – 2.50 - 2.74 Rodin – 2.75 – 3.00 In addition to these awards, the director presents a Hugo award to a backstage/tech person making a significant contribution to the success of the production. Season/Best of awards are based on ballots of select individuals who have been involved with Playhouse South for a significant period of time, and attended each production during the year.
