Playthell Benjamin ATTENTION ALL WHO CARE ABOUT WAR AND PEACE!!!!! As the US government prepared to invade Iraq after the 9/11 attack all the major media commentators and press punditocracy egged the Bushmen on in what they viewed as a righteous war. I strongly disagreed, writing my counter analysis of the situtation in a commentary of several thousand words that was broadcast over Pacifica Radios WBAI in New york city and posting it on the Internet. However here is my thoughtful of why I took the position I did at the time recounted in a thoughtful television commentary made after the fact, But as the nation embarks on yet another protracted war in the Middle East I am reposting this in an effort to demonstrate why you should be listening to my analysis of the present crisis rather than the celebrate and overpaid talking heads in the corporate media.
