Please FORWARD to the CEO of COMCAST CABLE. To the CEO and shareholders of Comcast Cable. You have had some bad publicity lately and again your company has no idea what it is doing. I signed up with Comcast June 3rd when Brandon Wade your salesman solicited your services to us. We had a contract for $89 a month plus fees which included internet and cable tv and would total around $102 plus taxes. He said if we had any problems please call me and we will resolve any issues. The first guy that came out on June 9 th had no equipment to install so he wasted my day waiting for the installation. So i called Brandon and rescheduled. The second time there was a problem getting equipment so Brandon again rescheduled and this time Brandon said he was going to give me credit for the inconvenience. And again if there are any problems just give me a call, Brandon said. The third time the guy came out and installed the equipment with no smile on his face and did not want to be bothered with any questions. Hooked up the equipment and left. We had a few issues with the service. One, we were not getting upto 50 mbps for the internet and two when watching tv it was like watching old versions of Chinese karate movies where the sound and picture were not in sync. I then called Brandon but he never returned my phone calls. So we called the tech dept and they scheduled a 4th guy to come out and take a look at the problem. The 4th guy came out and replaced the equipment and said that the cable was bad and needed to be replaced from the outside box to the house. He did that and said to me that someone will be back here to bury the cable. Well that did not happen. When i called comcast for a billing issue they had no idea what was going on. But they did say that no one had mentioned about the cable being buried so they had to schedule someone to come out and bury the cable. It took about 2 weeks to bury the cable. I called Brandon again and left a message but again he never replied. After calling about 4 times and leaving him messages about the billing, i said that if he doesnt call me back to resolve the issue i will cancel my services. He never called back so i cancelled my services. He lied to me. By July 19th we had Direct TV again ( i never cancelled with them i only had it for suspension and reactivated it ). They have Excellent service, their installation guy was here the next day and we had our great picture again and the quality is far better then Comcast. My first bill was $164.09 and dated June 12 which was wrong, no credit was given. And installation was to begin June 9th, but it never happened, it was rescheduled. They said that the salesperson has no authority to give credit. But it is written on my contract. Then they said they can not give credit until everything is fixed but yet they want to get paid. The first bill was due July 10th, with no credit given. The second bill was dated July 5th with no credit given for a total of $111.14 For a total amount of $275.23. I called and spoke to several people which they all promised that a manager or someone will call me back to resolve the billing issue. They all LIED. No one called me. I called again after i cancelled my service to resolve the billing issue and finally someone from the retention department said that my total bill would be around $152 after all said and done. When i cancelled they told me that they will send me a shipping label and to return the items ( equipment ) when i get the label. A couple of weeks went by and as i was working in the garage a cable guy stopped by to pick up the equipment. I said to him i was expecting a label he said i am the label,ha ha . He picked up the equipment and gave me a receipt. This was August 5th. Today is August 12th and i received a bill from Comcast totaling $379.03. When i called and asked to speak to a supervisor and after about 45 minutes on the phone the supervisor said that i never cancelled my service thats why i have an outstanding bill. He said that he has to cancel the service before he can give me a credit and if i stay on hold he will take care of it. I was on hold for about 20 minutes finally i hung up. To the CEO and shareholders of comcast cable, I do not owe you this money. You have incompetent people and LIARS working for your company. Therefore, your commercials and your obligation and your words to the public and to me means NOTHING. You probably dont care about what i wrote but i dont care about your company.
