Please Help The Homeless Indian Brothers In Dammam (Re: Indian National Nitaqat Trauma in Dammam Seiko Park) Dear brothers, Assalamoalaikum warahmatullahe wabarakatahu. With reference to the above subject, my below mail of today to "His Excellency, The Ambassador Of India", Riyadh, I am writing to you this email to inform you that how our "Indian Brothers" living in pitiful, pathetic & precarious conditions. This is Month of Ramadan and those people are render homeless, going through such hardship under 47 to 48 degree temperature, with no proper food, water and sanitation. They are skilled workers with little education and authority insensitive approach makes them suffer for more than two month and yet their ordeal is not over. May I appeal you all to come forward to help these needy people with food, water, medicines, toiletry items etc etc. In this holy month, of RAMADAN, can we extend our support to these Indian brothers? Re: Indian national stranded without shelter for months & awaiting ECs. Respected His Excellency, At the outset, we appreciate & very grateful for what ever our embassy is doing to expedite ECs for Indians with the active help of dedicated volunteer and that too tirelessly for few month is commendable by any yardstick. However, whatever has been done seems little as the plight of those who are shelter less, suffering under the scorching heat and forced to living under such harsh condition are heart rendering. Some fell ill and could not bear the ordeal they are going through have lost their mental semblance, but the ordeal is far from over. Bureaucratic apathy has made them suffer more than they deserve. Sir, how can one remain healthy under sweltering heat and without having money to feed themselves. Slowly, most of them are sick, weak and near mental exhaustion. Sir, can we do something to the extent that we can provide food & shelter (such as any hall whereby some makeshift arrangement for abode and at least they can sleep till their process is over). People who are living under inhuman condition are mostly hailing from north Indian states (states such as UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab, Bengal & J&K). Sir, we too have meager resource to feed them and provide basic amenities or buy enough medicine. We are on the verge of tear to see the plight of our national and mere spectator to the whole callous attitude of "Tarheel". We know our diplomatic mission has very cordial relationship with higher Saudi authorities and definitely things will start moving in alacrity once we made them acquaint with the stock of the situation. We do, hope Indian Embassy in their capacity will definitely solicit more co-operation from their Saudi counterpart. Quicker dispensation is the need of the hour. We have list of people whose process are long overdue with your active intervention it will move at greater pace.Attached kindly see the list with their respective detail and do the needful at earliest. Thanking you in anticipation & looking forward for your kind timely help.
