Please Pray For Pastor Don Davis: (I just received this via email from a friend...) I am currently pastoring the Grace Baptist Church in Hampton, SC. I have been preaching for almost 43 years with 41 of those years in full time service. I have pastored churches in MS, TN, NC, KY, and SC. My wife and I spent almost 20 years in mission work. We served in 3 foreign countries: the Falkland Islands, Scotland, and Iceland. I served as Assistant Director and General Director of Prayer Baptist Missions International in Boiling Springs, SC for ten and a half years. I have recently been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and will have surgery on Tuesday July 9 at 7:30 am, in Charleston, SC. They will remove the entire thyroid and as many as 10 lymph nodes. We are praying that the cancer is only in the thyroid and has not reached the lymph nodes. There is also a nodule in my lung that they feel is cancer. They are going to wait till after the thyroid is removed before dealing with the lung. Please pray for us and our church during these days that God will prove Himself faithful.
