Please SHARE and help Sydney find her furever home..... Sydney DOB: March 2009 Special Needs: Chronic Renal Problem. Beautiful Sydney is looking for a forever home. She is a pretty black and white cat with white feet and a tiny white tip on her tail and beautiful white whiskers. She is 5 years old and has been diagnosed with a chronic renal problem. She has been in foster care while we found a suitable diet and for the last three months has been on a clinical trial to find medication to stabilize her. During this clinical trial she has been closely monitored and the vet reports are encouraging – quote “her numbers have stabilized and some have even improved”. Its recommended that she continue on medication which is given once a day in liquid form in her wet food and is readily accepted. She obviously feels much better – her fur shines, she grooms herself and although sitting on a lap is her favorite activity she has also started to play. She is a quiet cat who has become extremely affectionate. She gets on with other cats and is living with two other cats at the moment but she would be equally happy to be a lone cat with all the attention. She cannot return to the shelter as the shelter cats have open feeding and Sydney must continue on a special low protein diet which is available at Global Pet stores.
