Please SHARE and help find Kandi her furever home. Thanks! Kandi Breed: Tortoiseshell (mix) Gender: Female Weight: Other: Altered: Yes Ref. no.: 140916-K1 I would like to introduce you to Kandi. I have held off on making this introduction for a while because everyday Kandi gets a little different. You see, when she was just a little baby she was attacked by a dog. Had it not been for her rescuers quick action she would have lost her eye. I have noticed vast improvements in her eyes since she came to live with me but I have also noticed vast improvements in her personality. When she came to stay with me she was very scared. You cant really blame her as even her human interaction involved lots of medicine to make her better. Dogs meant trouble but humans also meant something was coming that she didnt like. Kandi chose to hang out in out of the way places and freaked out when her foster brother dog would walk by. Even in the toughest of times though, she would be the one to find a toy that had been long lost and would have a blast with it. This cat can play! Fast forward to the present and Kandi is a kitten that crawled under the covers with me last night and has been standing her ground for a spot on my lap today. She will thrive in a household that isnt too crazy. She has gotten used to her foster dog brother because he is an easy going dog so mild mannered dogs and older children will be ok. She just needs to feel safe so lots of noise and fast movement can be a little overwhelming for her. Kandi has been through rough times and she deserves a great family to grow with and love She was born around the beginning of August and has age appropriate vaccinations, wormed, flea treatment, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and has already been spayed.
