Please SHARE this if you never share anything else I post. These poor homeless dogs, and many others, in the Bahamas needs help. They are looking for homes or even foster homes in the US. Other ways you can help are by sharing this post, or by making a donation to help with their vetting and transportation. I would LOVE to adopt Bindi myself, but it would be a stretch if I could make that happen since we dont have a fenced in yard (which the rescue they go through in NY requires) and Im not sure how she would be with cats or the 3 dogs we already have. Another dog within a few blocks of these dogs was recently poisoned and died. :-( Yes...I know there are many homeless dogs in the US and they need our help as well, but Ive seen many of these homeless dogs in the Bahamas and they just break your heart. Many of them are super friendly and just want love. There was one on the dock where our cruise ship was docked and he was wagging his tail and trying to get onto that cruise ship to get out of there. lol I wanted to scoop him up and take him home. There is one lady in Nassau, Chella Melnechuk, who goes around the island every day feeding over 100 homeless dogs. She gets them veterinary care when she can, but she is only one person. She needs our help.
