On the NSW North Coast this will hurt the Australian Hearing Services at Tweed Heads, Ballina, Lismore, Grafton, Banora Point, Casino, Goonellabah, Kingscliff, Kyogle, Mullumbimby, Murwillumbah, Ocean Shores, Pottsville and Yamba. Labor will fight these cruel plans by the National Party to privatise an important service that many families here on the North Coast rely on. This is just another example of Tony Abbott and the National Party’s cruel and unfair Budget. They’re cutting age pensions, bringing in a $7 doctor tax, the petrol tax, and now they want to cut the services for those with hearing impairments.
